The Combined Firearms Proficiency Course – Defensive Rifle & Pistol is an intensive firearms training course in the USA for advanced participants who want to further develop their skills in the safe and effective use of both rifle and pistol.

This course provides comprehensive firearms training with a focus on responsible, controlled, and situation-adapted handling of long guns and handguns in defensive scenarios. The core training areas include safe weapon handling, defensive shooting skills with rifle and pistol, transition techniques between long gun and handgun, target acquisition and engagement, movement, and tactical decision-making.

Participants develop greater confidence, control, accuracy, and operational readiness for the effective use of rifle and pistol in dynamic defensive situations.

This course is designed for responsible firearm owners, security personnel, service providers, and advanced shooters who want to develop their combined rifle and pistol skills in a structured and professional training environment.

Primary-to-secondary weapon transition techniques
Weapon systems mechanics and malfunction management
Shooting on the move under time pressure
Dynamic and tactical live-fire drills
Distance management and positional transitions
Team-based tactical shooting drills
Use of cover and concealment
Low-light shooting applications
Tactical decision-making and threat assessment
Range discipline, safety communication, and command procedures
